More Tubs, Less Resin, Less Hassles, More Profit!  The benefits of switching from styrene polyester resins to TSE-EcoSpray® 450C, our styrene-free, two-part sprayable polyurethane resin that reinforces monolithic cast acrylic sheet are huge!  Our polyurethane resin cures four times as fast as styrene polyester, so you can make four times as many tubs in the same amount of time!  Our polyurethane resin is so strong that you can use at least 25% less resin than you're using now while lowering labor costs and increasing profits!

Our polyurethane resin bonds very well to monolithic cast acrylic sheet.  Styrene polyester doesn't.  It's VOC-free and environmentally preferable, so no Title V permit is required, eliminating those bureaucratic hassles. It's non-toxic and recyclable.

TSE-EcoSpray® 450C resin replaces styrene polyester resins in the traditional FRP environment. It provides superior adhesion while eliminating atomization and overspray issues. It's a two-part sprayable polyurethane resin that provides an environmentally preferred solution without sacrificing flexibility, tensile strength or Tg. The recommended application system uses a 1:1 ratio.

tse-ecospray polyurethane composite resin for bath reinforcementSave Time and Money!  Think of the time and money you'll save and the hassles you'll eliminate by switching from styrene polyester to TSE-EcoSpray® polyurethane resin. Since TSE-EcoSpray polyurethane resin cures in just 15 minutes instead of 1 houryou can increase production four-fold!

Thanks to its super-strong physical properties, TSE-EcoSpray® 450C resin allows you to use at least 25% less resin on every tub! Since it's a low density resin, it's much lighter in weight, yet incredibly strong. A tub that currently weighs 70-80 pounds is just 30-35 pounds! That means easier handling and lower freight bills.

It's polyurethane, not styrene, so there are no offensive odors. What you spray goes on the tub, not in the atmosphere!  It's a simple drop-in solution. Why wouldn't you switch?

Our TSE-EcoSpray 450C won't foam even in high humidity with extended gel times required for adhesion to acrylic or with the introduction of chopped glass fiber. No runaway exotherms. It provides uniformity of coat while exhibiting no moisture sensitivity typical of other products.

Styrene "Reasonably Anticipated to be a Human Carcinogen."  On October 2, 2014, the National Toxicology Program of the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services issued its 13th Report on Carcinogens.  The Report identifies agents, substances, mixtures, and exposure circumstances that are known or reasonably anticipated to cause cancer in humans.  The Report, prepared by a panel of scientists, concludes that styrene is reasonably anticipated to be a human carcinogen.  The future is clear, and it doesn't include styrene polyester resins. Why wait? The time to switch to safe, environmentally preferable alternatives is NOW!
