Management Team

Robert R. Klingel, Sr., C.E.O.

Robert R. Klingel, Sr is the C.E.O and Chairman of the Board of TSE Industries. Mr. Klingel graduated from Elon College with a B.S. in Biology in 1968.  He then moved to San Diego, California, where he received his medical technologist license and worked at Bay General Hospital. In 1972, Mr. Klingel's parents, Walt and Helen Klingel, who founded TSE in 1962, asked Rob if he would like to return and help run the family business.  He agreed and started working at TSE with his brother and just 6 other employees. In 1999, Mr. Klingel's father passed away, at which time he became President. He served in that capacity until 2011, when he became C.E.O. and appointed his son, Richard "Rick" Klingel, as President.    

Mr. Klingel married his lovely wife, Diane, in 1974.  Their three sons, Rick, Rob Jr., and Brad, now run TSE's operations along with the Management Team. Mr. Klingel's hobbies include football, fishing and traveling to unique locations.  He is now semi-retired, allowing him and his wife to enjoy life to the fullest.

Richard K. Klingel, President

Richard (“Rick”) Klingel is the President of TSE Industries, Inc. A native of St. Petersburg, Florida, Rick received his Associate’s Degree in Business from St. Petersburg College and his BA in Business Administration from the University of South Florida.  Rick is the third generation of the Klingel Family to head up TSE, founded in 1962 by Rick’s grandparents, Walt and Helen Klingel. Rick is responsible for all TSE divisions and subsidiaries and personally oversees our Specialty Chemicals Division.

Rick and his lovely wife, Theresa, married in 2002. They have two beautiful children, Adara and Weston. Rick enjoys traveling, sporting events, and spending time with his family at local beaches.

Rick is an active member of Young Presidents Organization. He is also highly involved in the Klingel Family Foundation, which has donated over $1,200,000 to Tampa Bay charities, including Hospice, Ronald McDonald House, All Children’s Hospital, Moffitt Cancer Center, and many more.

Robert R. Klingel, Jr., President, Engineered Polymers Division

Robert R. Klingel, Jr. is the President of TSE's EPD (Engineered Polymers Division). Rob has an A.A. in Business Management.  Being a third generation Klingel, Rob grew up in the polymers business.  After TSE acquired medical tubing and assembly company, Consolidated Polymer Technologies (CPT) back in 1999, Rob went to work there as Production Manager, learning all aspects of the business.

In January of 2007, TSE sold CPT to Saint Gobain Performance Plastics. Rob stayed on as its V.P of Operations and Plant Manager, running its day-to-day operations and overseeing the building of two Class 7 clean rooms.  In 2010, Rob rejoined TSE in its Composites Division.  In 2011, he was appointed President of TSE's EPD Division.  Then, in 2012, TSE formed its latest subsidiary, WHK BioSystems, LLC, a medical products development and assembly company. Rob was a natural choice to lead this new venture, where he now serves as its President and Managing Manager.  

Rob is married to his lovely wife, Heather, and has two beautiful daughters, Reese & Kendall.

L. Bradley Klingel, President, TSE-OK, LLC

L. Bradley Klingel is the President of TSE's UHMW Sheet Division, known as TSE-OK, LLC, which is located on TSE's campus in Clearwater, Florida.  As a third generation Klingel, Brad grew up in the polymers business, working at TSE for years and learning the business.  

Brad is responsible for all aspects of TSE-OK, including UHMW sheet production, raw materials, scheduling, and business affairs.  

Brad has three beautiful children, Jack, Joe and Nick.

Richard T. Catalano, Esq., Corporate Counsel

Richard T. Catalano is TSE's Corporate Counsel.  He has served in this role since 2002. Prior to coming to TSE, he was Corporate Counsel for a nationwide seller of medical claims processing software systems for eight years, prior to which he was in the private practice of law in Florida since 1985.  

He received his B.A. in Business Administration from the University of South Florida in 1982. He received his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in St. Petersburg and was admitted to The Florida Bar in 1985. Mr. Catalano handles all legal affairs for TSE and its affiliated companies.  He is admitted to practice in both Florida and Massachusetts.  

He is married to his lovely wife, Shara.  His son, Neal, is a writer who graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree from the Honors College of the University of South Florida.      

Michelle Hintz-Prange, HR Manager

Michelle Hintz-Prange is TSE's HR Manager.  Michelle received her Bachelor's Degree in HR Management from he University of Wisconsin.  She is PHR Certified by the HR Certification Institute.    

Michelle has been with TSE for 20 years and is responsible for all HR and staffing at TSE and its affiliated companies. Her department includes an HR Assistant/Recruiter and a Benefits Coordinator.  

She, her husband, Michael, and their beautiful daughter can be found enjoying the Florida beaches whenever she is not at TSE.  

Tobey Fava, Benefits Coordinator

Tobey Fava is TSE's Benefits Coordinator.  

Tobey brings more than 20 years of benefits experience to TSE.  She administers the many benefits that TSE and its affiliated companies offer their employees, including health and dental insurance, life insurance, 401(k) contributions, AFLAC, and a wide variety of others. Tobey also keeps track of employee leaves, FMLA compliance, and all relevant documentation.  Additionally, Tobey handles payroll for the company.  

When Tobey takes her annual vacation, you can find her at her small lakeside cottage in Canada enjoying the cool breeze and the Canadian wilderness.  


Bobbette Eley, HR Recruiter

Bobbette Eley is TSE's HR Recruiter.  

She is primarily responsible for all recruiting activities at TSE, from placing advertisements, to responding to job inquiries, conducting initial interviews, coordinating follow-up interviews between candidates and department heads, and then conducting all new employee orientations.  

Additionally, Bobbette assists TSE's HR Manager with a multitude of tasks that come up every day. Bobbette is from the Boston area, and while she loves Florida, still enjoys going home and spending time with family and friends back home.       

Gary A. Reese, V.P. Sales, Engineered Polymers Division

Gary Reese is Vice-President of Sales for TSE's Engineereed Polymers Division.  He served four years in the United States Air Force, working two years in the Machine Trades.  

In April of 2018, Mr. Reese will celebrate 40 years at TSE.  He has an encyclopedic knowledge of rubber and plastic fabrication.  He oversees the Customer Service Department for TSE's Engineered Polymers Division as well as its UHMW Sheet Division, TSE-OK, LLC.

Gary and his lovely wife, Nancy, live in Safety Harbor, where they enjoy spending time with their beautiful daughters.
