CNC Machinists (2nd & 3rd Shifts, training on 1st) $1,000 Signing Bonus Upon Completion of 90 Day Probationary Period (4 POSITIONS AVAILABLE!)

Set up and operate special purpose, manual and CNC machines to fabricate plastic & rubber parts by performing the following duties
Requirements and Education: 
High school diploma or GED required. Trade school or university program certificate; or two to four years recent experience and/or training required *Must be able to make/grind your own tools as required. *Fanuc G-code programming experience is required. *Must have set-up experience. *Plastics machining experience a plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and set-up requirements. Measure, mark and scribe dimensions and reference points on material or workpiece as guides for subsequent machining. Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, jog borers, grinders, and shapers. Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut, or enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media. Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjust machine controls or control media as required. Verify conformance of finished workpiece to specifications. Set up and operate machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data. Fit and assemble parts into complete assembly. Install machined replacement parts in mechanisms, machines, and equipment, and test operation of unit to ensure functionality and performance. Develop specifications from general description and draw sketch or part or product to be fabricated. Confer with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems.
