The Biobased, Drop-In Solution for Styrene Polyester. TSE-EcoSpray® Bio 550C and TSE-EcoSpray® Bio 530C are USDA Certified Biobased Products under the USDA's BioPreferred® Program. They are polyurethane spray layup resins for reinforcing consumer and industrial fiberglass composite structures, such as baths, hot tub spas, boats, motor vehicle parts, construction and many others. They can be used with fiberglass chop. These new resins are a drop-in solution that can replace styrene polyester in many applications. They're 1:1 by volume, so application is quick and easy.
TSE-EcoSpray Bio resin is VOC and BPA-Free, and that's getting to be more important every day. Current regulations in the U.S. generally allow 20 PPM for styrene emissions. Since TSE-EcoSpray Bio reinforcing resin is totally free of solvents, VOC's and BPA, you can manufacture your hot tub spas and tubs without those nasty styrene odors, and without the need for Title V permits!
Non-Foaming in Ambient Humidity. TSE-EcoSpray Bio can be applied in the ordinary FRP shop environment without foaming! No climate control needed!
A USDA Certified Biobased Product. Our urethane reinforcing resin is a USDA Certified Biobased Product under the USDA's BioPreferred® Program. This serves as independent verification of the percentage of biobased materials in our products.
