Thanecure T9 is a non-hazardous, environmentally friendly isocyanate which is stable under normal storage conditions. Thanecure T9 can be used in aqueous dispersions, such as dips for the treatment of polyester fabric.

Thanecure T9 dimerized TDI can be used as a vulcanization agent. It reacts bi-functionally under different molecular weights. Under mild reaction conditions, Thanecure T9 is primarily bi-functional and has a molecular weight of 348. Under severe conditions, Thanecure T9 dimerized TDI still reacts bi-functionally, but with a molecular weight of 174 (that of monomeric TDI). Reactivity under a molecular weight of 348 is hindered, and allows for a delayed action reactivity, required in vulcanizing rubber. Thanecure T9 can also be used in the bonding of PVC to fabric, the adhesion of protective covers to substrates, or the adhesion in between layers of different polarity.

Thanecure® ZM Cure Activator

Thanecure ZM is a cure activator for sulfur cured Millathane® polyurethane rubber. Increasing the amount of Thanecure increases the rate and state of cure and improves the compression set resistance. Thanecure ZM is used to cure both polyester and polyether, and other types of sulfur curable polyurethane rubber.
