Cast Urethane Operator |
SUMMARY - Manufactures raw materials and finished rubber goods. REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE - High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and minimum of 2 years of experience manufacturing cast urethane products; chemical mixing & blending and equipment operation. The employee must complete all applicable departmental training requirements within 90 days to retain this position, including all safety programs designed for this position. Minimum of 2 years of experience manufacturing cast urethane products. MUST BE NON-SMOKER. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Weigh and/or measure specific quantities of varying types of ingredients. Mix ingredients in proper sequence and proportions. Tend mixing equipment and maintain desired control over time, heat, pressure, color or other variables. Prepare inserts for molding. May perform blending, filtration and drying operations. May test according to prescribed procedures and specifications. Maintain batch, time, weight, color, pressure, heat, production and/or other records as required. Troubleshooting with supervisor to devise solutions to any foreseen difficulties. Must perform standard duties using the Vantage computer software. Other duties may be assigned as needed. |

Chemical Operators |
SUMMARY - Tends reactors by performing assigned job duties. REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE - High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working with chemicals, equipment, and instrumentation. Any mixing experience is also helpful. MUST BE NON-SMOKER TO WORK IN CHEMICAL PLANT. Valid Florida driver’s license required for forklift operation. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Weigh and/or measure specific quantities of varying types of ingredients. Mix ingredients in proper sequence and proportions. Tend mixing equipment and maintain desired control over time, heat, pressure, color or other variables. May perform blending, filtration and drying operations. May test according to prescribed procedures and specifications. Maintain batch, time, weight, color, pressure, heat, production and/or other records as required. Fill drums and buckets as needed. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis. Troubleshooting with supervisor to devise solutions to any foreseen difficulties. |

CNC Machinists |
SUMMARY - Program, set up and operate special purpose, and CNC machines and machining centers to fabricate plastic or rubber parts by performing the following duties.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE - High school diploma or GED required. Trade school or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training required. Fanuc G-code programming experience is required. CNC Router experience preferred. Plastics machining experience a plus. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and set-up requirements. Measure, mark and scribe dimensions and reference points on material or workpiece as guides for subsequent machining. Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, jog borers, grinders, and shapers. Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut, or enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media. Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjust machine controls or control media as required. Verify conformance of finished workpiece to specifications. Set up and operate machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data. Fit and assemble parts into complete assembly. Install machined replacement parts in mechanisms, machines, and equipment, and test operation of unit to ensure functionality and performance. Develop specifications from general description and draw sketch or part or product to be fabricated. Confer with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems. |

Composite Field Service Technician |
SUMMARY - Primary role is to assist the CASE Technical Service Manager with the day-to-day support and service of existing composite customers and the start-up of new composite customers. Secondary role is to assist in the development, market and trial efforts of new product offerings for the composite industry both equipment and chemistry related.
REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE - Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Manufacturing Management from a four-year college or university, plus 1 to 3 years of hands-on process development and/or research and/or marketing and/or production experience and/or field technical service in spray operations. Must be a non-smoker to work in chemical production plant. Travel is required.
NOTE - This position requires applicants to successfully pass a pre-employment, as well as an annual pulmonary function test (PFT). This position may expose the employee to isocyanates which are chemicals known to be respiratory irritants and sensitizers. While TSE provides personal protective equipment (PPE) to its employees working around such chemicals, the most current and best available medical data indicate that individuals with pre-existing respiratory conditions including but not limited to asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, and the like are at high risk or experiencing serious, and possibly fatal reactions to isocyanates, even at concentrations below the legally permissible exposure level (PEL). Therefore, due to this direct threat to their safety, TSE does not hire individuals with pre-existing respiratory conditions to work in this position. Likewise, TSE does not employ smokers to work in this position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Responsible for providing on-site Customer Technical Service as required to assist customers and to provide trouble shooting support and expertise. Responsible for conducting routine customers audits to benchmark their existing performance and to insure that each customer is processing TSE materials per our recommended guidelines. Responsible for conducting routine customers audits to benchmark their existing performance and to insure that each customer is maintaining the equipment/spare parts per the manufacturer’s/TSE’s guidelines such that the performance of the equipment does not adversely affect the finished properties of the TSE raw materials. Responsible for documenting all customer audits and summarizing to communicate results form audits to both TSE and customer management personnel. Responsible for conducting on-going training both at TSE and in the field regarding the use of TSE raw materials, equipment, and product stewardship. Responsible for coordinating the procurement of all supplies, equipment and raw materials necessary to both maintain existing customers and start-up new customers. Responsible for assisting in the development, procurement and/or installation of new processes, materials and equipment required to support the business at both TSE and customer locations. Benchmark competitive product offerings and technology. Coordinate external testing of new product and customer trials with new and existing customers. In addition to supervising, perform similar work to those supervised. Participate in ISO 9001-2000 corrective action reports. |

Machine Operators |
SUMMARY - Tends fabricating machines that cut and shape plastic or robber products by performing the following duties. REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE -
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements. Sets stops or guides to specified length as indicated by scale, rule, or template. Positions workpiece against stops or aligns layout marks with die or blade. Pushes button or depresses pedal to activate machine. Observes machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction. Measures workpiece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation. Removes burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from workpiece. Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies or workpieces. Assists machine operators to set up machine, and stack, mark, pack, and transport finished workpieces.
